my graphics.

Well, I didn't have the time or inclination to add all the pages for all the graphics I've done, so I decided to just throw some of the ones I especially like onto a favorites page and leave it at that. Sorry that I don't have them ALL up here, but considering that this is just a placeholder site, I think it's fair. Enjoy!

Clicking on one of the options, below, will take you to those specific graphics:

acc avatars.

One of the websites that I used to frequent allowed moderators and admin to choose a special avatar for themselves. After making avatars for many of the staff (several of which are still in use, there), some of the other members started asking me to make them avatars similar to the ones the staff used. Despite the fact that regular members weren't allowed to have personalized avatars, the requests kept coming in! To date, I have made over 800 avatars based on the specifications of the site and I still get requests, to this day!

Unfortunately, not everyone has a designer's eye, so sometimes the avatars would turn out a little... well... let's say unpleasant looking... Others, however, turned out beautifully, and these are some of the ones I felt turned out the best.

other avatars.

Eventually, I branched out to other sizes of avatars, when some of my requesters asked if they could use my avatars on other sites. Of course, I was delighted to oblige and ended up needing to make some for myself when I moved to other sites with larger standard avatar sizes. These are just a few of the larger avatars that I thought turned out particularly nice looking.

signatures.

In moving to sites that had other avatar sizes, I also ended up in places where you were allowed to have images in your signatures, which meant that people started asking for those, as well. At first, the style I used wasn't the style that people on the sites were used to, so I had to adjust it and use the styles they wanted and were happy with. In doing so, I met alot of good designers (and some who thought they were good designers) and learned alot of new things.

While on one of the sites, I actually ran a very successful graphics shop (even now that the shop has been closed for over 8 months, it still has the most posts and most views of any shop on the site!) where I made all manner of things for people, including signatures, avatars, profile pictures, wallpapers, and even a PSP skin! Below are some of the signatures that I'm especially proud of; the ones where I was very happy with the way it looked when it was complete.

I'm not sure exactly when these became popular, but suddenly they did and everyone wanted one! There were tons of websites out there that would make one, automatically, for you, but you couldn't always customize it exactly the way you wanted to. Someone asked me if I could make them and I spent an hour or so learning about them and creating a template. From there, it was just filling in the info the requestor gave me and changing colors/placing images! These are all about the same, so I just picked a few that I thought were indicitive of the type of work they are.

web banners.

I've gotten lots of requests from people who have their own websites and wanted me to work up some graphics for them, including web banners like the ones, below. I also had people wanting banners for their gaming clans, a contest they were getting ready to run or even banners for flyers that they were planning on printing out for one thing or another.

I love playing with text (especially trying to match a video game text with all the design elements they use) and animation is one of my specialties. I picked some of my favorite banners and also some that show off a particular talent (like matching the Super Smash Brothers Brawl text or getting lights to blink).
